Hi I’m Bec McIntosh, chief dot connector and founder of Career Jam.

Helping people grow, transition and transform their careers is a major passion project for me.
I am a qualified career practioner who has spent many years working with professionals and helping them navigate challenging times and breakthrough.

While I have an amazing day job leading AI and ESG Communities of Best Practice for Australia’s oldest economic think tank, Career Jam is my jam.

I’ve had my own long and winding career road.
The Jam brings together my love of career development, connecting with amazing people and sharing advice. I get to interview professionals and researchers who have been on that career journey of change, big and small and researchers who deep dive into all things career transformation to help shape and plan your next career moves.

Everyone has their own career path and many of those I have worked with have faced obstacles, detours and periods of inertia. AI is making the jobs market and how to plan for the future increasingly interesting and requiring new approaches and agility.

I’m sharing the stories of those that have challenged the beliefs holding them back, bounced back after devastating life events and built the roadmaps to make change and ultimately transformed their careers and their lives. I bring you the latest research so you can understand how the jobs market in changing and what you need to do to adapt.

Careers are messy, hardly ever linear and are always part of bigger questions:
